PROFILE OF NURSING DIPLOMA DEPARTMENT 
 

UMM Nursing Diploma III Program was established since 1993 based on the Health Ministry of Republic Indonesia's Statement Letter No: HK.00.06.1.1.3663 on Oktober 1993. The licence of accomplishement was temporary. It was only for 2 years, so, it must be extended after 2 years development. 

In 1997, based on the Head of Health Staff Education Center on Department of Health Affair, Nursing Diploma III Program got the accreditation B with the score of 81,11. For the accreditation, in the same year, this program got the licence of temporary performance for four years along with the allocation of 60 students. The licence was based on the Health Ministry of Republic Indonesia's Statment Letter No: HK.00.06.1.1.3907 on December 3, 1997. 

In 2001, based on the Ministry of Health and Social Welfare of Republic Indonesia's Statement Letter No: HK.00.06.1.1.02006 on July 6, 2001, Nursing Diploma III Program got the extended licence on performing the education for 4 years. While based on the Statement Letter of the Head of Health Staff Education Center on Department of Health Affair No: HK.00.06.2.2.3003 on August 16, 2002, it also received the accreditation A with the score of  90.00. The accreditation was entitled for five years, furthermore, the allocated students were 100. Besides, this program also got the licence directly from Department of National Education No: 45/D/O/2007 on March 29, 2007, so that, this study program was acknowledge by Department of National Education and Department of Health to build up professional nursing student. In 2008, based on the Statement Letter of the Head of Health Staff Education Center on Department of Health Affair No: HK.00.03.2.2.0154 on January 30, 2008, the program got the accreditation A with the score 90, 06. It was entitled for five years and also this program were allowed to receive about 100 students.
